The conference will be organized for three days. The Inaugural will be held in the evening of the first day, i.e. on Sunday 13th December 2009. Parallel Technical Sessions of two hours on each identified topics will be organized on the second and third day. There will be separate sessions for posters presentations. A pre-conference site visit to Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Cubbon Park and Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Yelahanka, Bangalore is being planned on the forenoon of the first day. An exhibition on clean technology options on water management will be organized as part of the Conference.

The conference is jointly organized by the Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) with many collaborators. For effective organization of this conference, the following four Committees are formed. They are :
